Job summary

South Beaver Dam Grain and Agronomy in Beaver Dam, WI seeks a seasonal worker to support its grain division during harvest. You will perform daily duties, provide excellent customer service, and follow a safety-first mindset under the Location Manager’s guidance.

The position is seasonal (September through November) with overtime as needed, and requires the ability to work outdoors, lift up to 50 pounds, and handle grain handling equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Work safely within company policy, procedures, and governmental regulations and participate in safety programs.
• Perform critical operations to keep the facility running.
• Unload, load and transfer grain and grain products by barge, truck and rail as needed.
• Develop knowledge of the product and its hazardous properties.
• Understand conveyance equipment operation and safety systems used in shipping, receiving and transferring grain.
• Provide a high level of customer service with courteous, knowledgeable interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the grain handling area and surrounding spaces.
• Monitor equipment and participate in maintenance; report repairs or concerns to management.
• Be an engaged team member and act independently when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
