Job summary

FS GRAIN, Lehigh, IL, is seeking a Seasonal Grain Elevator Operator to assist with grain handling, safety, and customer service under the direction of the Facility Manager.

The role involves loading and unloading grain, maintaining quality, complying with OSHA and safety rules, and performing routine equipment checks. A high school diploma plus related agricultural experience is preferred; a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related agricultural experience preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn grain handling processes.
• Understanding and experience with mechanical diagnosis, service and maintenance of equipment.
• Basic computer skills for grain handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming, stored, and outgoing grain and maintain quality.
• Perform housekeeping and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations.
• Provide professional customer service to ensure a positive experience.
