Job summary

FS GRAIN Creston, IL is seeking a Seasonal Grain Elevator Operator to support grain handling, safety and customer service at our Creston facility. This role reports to the Facility Manager and requires the ability to work independently as part of a team.

Responsibilities include grain handling, quality control, maintenance, and safe operation of equipment, with potential overtime and travel as needed. We offer a competitive pay scale and a comprehensive benefits package as part of our Total

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related agricultural experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to learn grain handling.
• Understanding and experience with mechanical diagnosis, service, repairs, maintenance, and upkeep of equipment and vehicles.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and ability to travel overnight when necessary.
• Ability to work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant.

Responsibilities

• Grain handling including incoming, stored, and outgoing grain.
• Maintain grain quality, blending, and providing grain drying services.
• Housekeeping and adherence to safety regulations.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Maintain equipment and facilities to company standards.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
