Job summary

GameStop Corp. seeks a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak season, delivering outstanding guest service and contributing to buy, sell, trade, and reservation activities in the Circle of Life.

You will assist in stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store cleanliness, while helping customers with video game needs and sales initiatives. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with their video gaming needs.
• Support store environment and sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Keep areas of the store clean, organized and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and present products well.
• Contribute to achieving sales, profit and shrinkage targets.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Adhere to inventory control, loss prevention and safety practices.
