Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak holiday periods. You will deliver best-in-class guest service, assist customers with video gaming needs, and participate in the Circle of Life buy, sell, and trade model.

This short-term role focuses on sales, store maintenance, and customer service, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail or guest service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and upselling as appropriate.
• Support the shopping environment and store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Stock and restock merchandise, ensuring appealing floor presentation.
• Help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams.
• Adhere to store policies including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
