Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak shopping periods. You will focus on sales, guest service, store maintenance, and a hands-on approach to merchandising.

You must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally retail or guest service experience. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests.
• Support the shopping environment, assist in store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensuring items are well-presented and alphabetized on the selling floor.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention, including awareness of scams and safety practices.
• Adhere to all GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance and confidentiality.
