Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak sales periods. You will deliver high-quality guest service, assist customers with video game needs, and help maintain merchandise presentation and store cleanliness.

The ideal candidate is 18+, with a preferred high school diploma and prior retail or guest service experience. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, recommending additional items, and thanking guests.
• Fully support the shopping environment and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised according to guidelines.
• Assist stocking and restocking, move products from stock room to floor, and present items neatly.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and safety.
• Adhere to store policies and procedures including attendance and confidentiality.
