Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak holiday sales days. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and exceptional guest service, helping customers with video gaming needs and maintaining a welcoming environment.

You must be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and prior retail or guest service experience desirable. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is important.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting them with their video gaming needs, recommending items, executing selling behaviors, and thanking guests.
• Support shopping environment including visual and operational aspects; contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise on shelves and fixtures; transfer products from stock to selling floor; keep displays neat and alphabetized.
• Help the team meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and courteously; escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention; stay aware of scams and safety best practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
