Job summary

GameStop seeks a Seasonal Sales Associate to assist the store team on a short-term basis, delivering outstanding guest service in a busy holiday sales environment. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service activities while supporting buy, sell, trade, and reservation initiatives.

The ideal candidate is at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and prior retail or guest service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with video game needs.
• Recommend additional items and demonstrate selling behaviors during transactions.
• Support store sales initiatives and maintain visual and operational standards during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure shelves are well-presented.
• Help the team meet sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and professionally, escalating to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and be aware of scams.
