Total Wine & More in Monterey, CA seeks a seasonal Customer Front End Team Member. You will process transactions, answer questions, and guide customers to promotions while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

You’ll train in wine, spirits, and beer products, stay updated on ads and loyalty programs, and ensure safety and compliance throughout the shift. This role emphasizes excellent service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and team player mindset.
• 1–3 years of work experience; 1+ years in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and loyalty prompts.
• Greet customers, build relationships, and inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of ads, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Ensure store safety, cleanliness and compliance with alcohol laws.
• Handle cross-functional duties as assigned.
