Total Wine & More in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver fast, accurate checkout and helpful service. You will process transactions, answer questions, promote the loyalty program, and maintain a welcoming store presence.

This role may also serve as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate. You’ll work with the Front End Team and report to store leadership; flexible evenings and weekend shifts are often required. Training and compliance with all laws will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and teamwork.
• 1–3 years retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, and loyalty program promotion.
• Greet customers and provide personalized service to build relationships and inform about products.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to increase product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and adherence to alcohol sale laws.
