Job summary

Michaels in Oregon is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will also help with stock duties, unloading trucks, and maintaining planograms to keep the store well merchandised.

Daily duties include promoting Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments, supporting Omni-channel orders, and adhering to SOPs while providing respectful, team-oriented service.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standard
• Promote Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup In Store and Ship From Store
• Stocking, truck unload, and planogram duties
• Maintain in-stock shelves and merchandise recovery
• Support store safety and shrink programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Provide friendly, respectful service and be a role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing sales and production
