Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a Cashier to deliver fast, friendly service and process transactions accurately. You will greet customers, answer questions, promote the loyalty program, and help create a positive visit experience.

This role may also include duties as a sales associate or merchandiser. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required. Total Wine & More offers PTO, store discounts, health plans, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of work experience, retail preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling
• Assist customers with questions and promote loyalty program
• Build product knowledge through training on wines, spirits and beers
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs
• Keep store safe and clean in line with regulations
• Comply with laws related to sale of alcohol and maintain safe environment
• Perform cross-functional duties as assigned
