Job summary

Total Wine & More is hiring a cashier for a seasonal role to deliver fast, friendly service and accurate transactions. You will welcome customers, answer questions, promote loyalty, and bag items while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Experience in retail and familiarity with POS systems help, along with the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Training on wine, spirits, and beer is provided to build product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and a team player mindset.
• 1–3 years of work experience; 1+ year in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification and payment handling.
• Answer questions, promote the loyalty program, and bag products.
• Provide a personalized service by greeting customers and sharing product knowledge.
• Maintain safety, store cleanliness, and familiarity with ads and promotions.
