H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to warmly greet clients in person and manage check-ins, scheduling, and daily office operations.

You will work with tax professionals to connect clients with the right expert and ensure a smooth, professional experience during tax season. The role is in-person, with opportunities to learn tax processes and grow toward leadership, while supporting team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities throughout the day.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfort using basic computer programs and digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams and scheduling systems).
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during tax season.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming, professional first impression as the face of the office
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional based on their needs
• Manage client check-in and intake processes, including scanning and organizing documents
• Maintain office organization and cleanliness to support a smooth, professional client experience
• Collaborate with tax professionals and team members to ensure seamless daily operations
• Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality, discretion, and care
