Job summary

Rochester Sand and Gravel in Rochester, MN is seeking a Construction Equipment Operator - Motor Grader to finish grade roadways with Bluetops or blade controls, ensuring proper slope and final tolerances. Local travel and overtime possible; this is a full-time seasonal role from April/May through November.

You will gain on-the-job training, work under a foreperson, and contribute to curb, shoulder, and parking lot projects with potential for advancement within the crew.

Qualifications

• Three years or more of finish blade experience.
• Ability to understand grades from plans, slopes and identify conflicts.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to work in all seasonal weather and environmental conditions.
• Ability to take instructions and communicate effectively to others as a team leader.

Responsibilities

• Finish grading of roadways including super curves, turn lanes, parking lots, and shoulder construction.
• On-the-job training provided with potential for advancement.
• Seasonal full-time with overtime and some Saturdays; local and regional travel.
