Job summary

Rochester Sand and Gravel is seeking a Construction Equipment Operator - Grading in Rochester, MN. This full-time seasonal role runs April/May through November (weather permitting) under a foreperson and requires operating front-end loaders, motor graders, rollers, and other excavating equipment.

Qualifications

• One or more years in operating road or excavating construction equipment is required.
• Technical school degree in Heavy Equipment Operation preferred or a related program.
• Ability to understand grades from plans, slopes and identify potential conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple road construction machines safely and efficiently.
• Follow supervisor instructions and maintain quality and productivity on site.
• Work full-time seasonal schedule with overtime and some Saturdays.
