Job summary

The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Collection in Park City, Utah, is seeking a Back Server to ensure an exceptional dining experience. You will skillfully check, arrange, and present meals and beverages to guests.

Qualifications include extended fine dining service experience, strong English communication, alcohol serving certification, and Forbes Five Star training. This role requires physical endurance and teamwork to deliver polished service.

Qualifications

• Extended experience providing service in a fine dining environment.
• Ability to remain calm during busy periods and treat guests and team members with respect.
• Professional, polished service etiquette and protocol skills and knowledge.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers.
• Current Alcohol serving certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent and some college.
• Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.
• Any previous serving and bartending training.
• Forbes Five Star Service Training/Experience
• Prior training in guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Practice intuitive, aware, of dining service.
• Anticipate guests’ needs based on body language, eye contact, and level of engagement.
• Ensure 100% accuracy of delivered items to tables.
• Maintain organization & cleanliness of the restaurant.
• Communicate with F&B Management and Culinary team about operations, ordering, or logistics.
• Respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand processes to resolve issues, delight, and build trust.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Report incidents to management.
• Follow all state and local laws for serving.
• Follow safety policies to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Complete closing duties including storing goods, breaking down items, cleaning equipment and areas.
