Job summary

The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Collection in Park City, Utah, seeks a Restaurant Host to uphold the welcoming atmosphere and ensure guests have a memorable experience from arrival to departure.

You will greet guests, manage check-ins and seating, handle phones and reservations, coordinate with staff, maintain the host area, and stay informed about hotel services and local attractions.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a high-end setting.
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain state and local certifications (food handler, alcohol training).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide courteous service from arrival to departure.
• Answer phones, take reservations, and manage in-room dining orders; maintain records in reservation systems.
• Coordinate with restaurant and pool staff to optimize guest placements and avoid overbooking.
• Assist with station charts, assign stations, and guide servers and support staff in table setup.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and work areas.
• Monitor guest profiles, VIP arrivals, and special requests; keep menus and wine lists up-to-date.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Know hotel services and local attractions; respond accurately to guest inquiries.
• Collaborate with Food and Beverage Management to uphold a positive restaurant environment.
