Job summary

Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Key Holder to support store leadership and deliver an outstanding customer experience for fans of music and pop culture.

You will train new recruits, help meet sales targets, and assist with daily operations, including opening/closing, register transactions, and maintaining visual standards. The role emphasizes fandom knowledge and leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred.
• Superpowers in providing customer service and selling.
• Ability to stand and walk during scheduled hours; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience to encourage repeat visits.
• Step in and help run the store when the Manager is away.
• Understand sales plans and help drive KPIs like UPT and ADT.
• Cover sales floor zones and assist with opening/closing the store.
• Process transactions and promote add-on sales using product knowledge.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners.
• Support stock room organization and store tidiness.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates to acclimate quickly.
