Job summary

MOPOP is seeking a Facilities Services Technician in Seattle to support daily operations, including cleaning, waste management, mailroom tasks, and event setups. The role requires weekend availability and a 40-hour workweek, with a temporary contract through September 2026.

You will work with facility managers to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all occupants and guests. Responsibilities include outdoor upkeep, supplies management, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in facility management or cleaning are a plus.
• Experience in facilities, cleaning, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.
• Basic understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Physical ability for lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and housekeeping tasks to hygiene standards.
• Minor landscaping and outdoor area upkeep.
• Waste collection, segregation, and disposal.
• Mailroom and logistics support; assist shipments.
• Venue/room setup for events including furniture and equipment.
• Provide courteous customer service to occupants and visitors.
• Stock and replenish cleaning and office supplies.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain logs and checklists for tasks and inventory.
