Job summary

ABM is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems, equipment, and facilities in Seattle, WA. The role supports safe and efficient operation by troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance issues.

Day shifts with hourly pay and weekly pay are offered. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of relevant experience, proficiency with ballasts/light bulbs, and comfort working in a mall environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of similar work experience.
• Proficiency in changing ballasts and light bulbs.
• Skilled in patching, sanding, and painting.
• Familiarity with hand tools and general maintenance tasks.
• Comfortable working in a mall environment and walking throughout the facility.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain restroom and breakroom plumbing fixtures.
• Clear drains using plunger and hand-held auger.
• Perform general labor around the job site.
• Repair HVAC registers and radiators return grills.
• Maintenance painting in mechanical/electrical rooms.
• Replace lamps and light fixtures.
• Replace air filters.
• Clean and maintain mechanical spaces.
• Hanging framed objects not requiring power tools.
