Job summary

Boyne Resorts at Summit at Snoqualmie seeks an entry-level Host to warmly welcome guests, seat diners, and assist servers during peak times. This seasonal role requires weekend and holiday availability and reports to the Food + Beverage Manager.

Ideal candidates have strong English communication, the ability to multitask, and a Washington State Food Worker Card. Compensation is $21.75–$22.50 per hour with standard benefits for a non-benefited role.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to listen to and resolve concerns from colleagues and guests.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure while meeting service standards.
• Obtain and maintain a Washington State Food Worker Card.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and seat guests, setting the tone for their dining experience.
• Share daily specials and seasonal menu offerings with guests.
• Offer personalized recommendations aligned with guest preferences and dietary needs.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the visit and address needs promptly.
• Assist with delivering food and beverages when needed.
• Perform opening and closing service duties with precision.
• Complete waste management, inventory replenishment, and equipment maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized service environment.
• Support servers, hosts, and other staff during peak service periods.
• Partner with the bussing team to maintain table turnover.
