Job summary

STG Inc. is seeking an Expediting Driver for Anchorage, AK. The role involves operating company vehicles to move materials between vendors, freight carriers, and job sites. Daily routes follow project schedules, with lifting and manual tasks as needed.

You will support the Procurement & Logistics team with loading, deliveries, and documentation, while maintaining safety and coordination with project staff and foremen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience with local vendors and freight processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles (picksups, vans, flatbeds up to 1.5 tons) to transport materials.
• Follow daily route plans based on project schedules and priorities.
• Pick up and deliver materials from vendors and project sites in Anchorage area.
• Perform loading/unloading, and assist with shipments as needed.
• Provide courier services for internal documents and communications.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, receipts, and expenses.
