Rawhide is hiring a bartender to present beverages and food, greet patrons, and manage orders with friendly, professional service. You will verify ages, handle cash, and prepare cocktails and snacks in a fast-paced environment.
You will also balance cash, maintain bar cleanliness, and contribute ideas for bar menus while following Arizona liquor laws and safety practices.
Position Summary: This position presents an alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons requesting either in the restaurant or during a banquet or special event.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for an entire shift or extended period of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; execute repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee occupationally is required to sit; and bend, stop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, push, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. The employee will be required to wash hands often; and will be required to have frequent contact/interaction of hands in water, sanitation solutions.
Must maintain a neat, clean, well- groomed appearance and adhere to Rwhidedress code at all times.
