Job summary

Qualifications

• Seasonal Schedule Requirements: must work at least one holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s).
• Minimum Experience: 1 year in an acute care emergency department.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS: California RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Certification; CEN encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellence in patient care and collaborative treatment based on patient/family needs.
• Perform assessments, treatments, and care on assigned ED units.
• Manage pain, invasive lines, and surgical drains as part of ongoing care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and demonstrate core values of Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals.
