Job summary

Qualifications

• One (1) year experience in an acute care emergency department.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• BSN Preferred.
• Requires California RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• ACLS (AHA) certification.
• PALS (AHA) certification.
• NIH Stroke Certification.
• CEN encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellence in patient care in the ED.
• Perform assessments, treatments and care on assigned units.
• Manage pain, invasive lines and surgical drains.
• Follow regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies.
