Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is hiring experienced Registered Nurses for our Rancho Springs Hospital Emergency Department for a seasonal, temporary assignment from October 2026 through March 2027. Exceptional pay and a completion bonus are offered for this assignment.

Staff RNs provide patient-centered care, assessments, treatments, and collaborate with the care team across the continuum, while following regulatory and hospital policies and supporting the hospital mission and core values.

Qualifications

• Seasonal Schedule Requirements: Must work at least one holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s).
• Minimum Experience: One (1) year experience in an acute care emergency department.
• REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS: Registered Nurse with current California RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Certification; CEN encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellence in patient care on assigned units while collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Conduct assessments, plan and deliver treatment and care for patients and families.
• Manage pain, invasive lines and surgical drains; adhere to hospital policies and core values.
• May be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital as needed.

Education

Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program
