Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital is seeking experienced Staff Registered Nurses for the Emergency Department on a seasonal, temporary basis. Positions run October 2026 through March 2027, with a bonus awarded for successful completion of the assignment.

Staff RNs will provide comprehensive patient care across units, perform assessments and treatments, and support pain management, invasive lines, and drains.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• ACLS (AHA) certification.
• PALS (AHA) certification.
• NIH Stroke Certification.
• CEN encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the ED, collaborating with the care team to meet patient and family needs.
• Perform assessments, treatments, and care on assigned units across the continuum of care.
• Manage pain, invasive lines, and surgical drains per policy and protocol.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, regulations, and core values while delivering compassionate care.
