Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for Seasonal ED assignments at Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, CA. The temporary positions run October 2026 through March 2027 with competitive pay and a completion bonus.

Staff RNs will provide assessment, treatment and care across the continuum, including pain management and postoperative support, while following hospital policies and core values across the UHS network.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in an acute care emergency department.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Current California RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• ACLS (AHA) certification.
• PALS (AHA) certification.
• NIH Stroke Certification.
• CEN encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence‑based care in the ED.
• Perform assessments, treatments and care for patients and families.
• Manage pain, invasive lines and surgical drains as part of the care plan.
• Adhere to regulatory, professional and hospital policies and core values.

Education

Completed accredited Registered Nursing program

BSN preferred
