Job summary

Michaels is hiring at our Tampa, FL store to join a friendly team delivering excellent customer service. You will help shoppers locate products, process quick checkouts, and enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.

The role supports BOPIS/SFS and requires standing, lifting, and daily store tasks in a climate-controlled retail setting. As a valued team member, you will assist with truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and maintaining in-stock levels, while following SOPs and

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand, move, lift and reach in a busy store environment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout with cash handling.
• Enroll customers in the Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock merchandising and complete go-back/return tasks.
• Execute Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
• Interact respectfully and model Michaels values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
