Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a friendly Retail Associate at our PORT-TUALATIN, OR location. You will help customers find products, process fast checkout, and support in-store programs.

You’ll participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram compliance to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock. You’ll educate customers on the Rewards program, Private Label Credit Cards, and VOC surveys, while embracing our SOPs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with proper cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC and surveys.
• Support Buy Online Pick up in Store and Ship From Store processes.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planograms (POGs).
• Maintain in-stock conditions and merchandise recovery; handle returns.
