Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store associate at PORT-TUALATIN, OR to assist customers, operate checkout, and support in-store processes. You will engage shoppers, answer questions, and enroll customers in Rewards and credit programs while maintaining store standards.

The role involves stocking, truck unloading, planograms, and ensuring a well-merchandised, in-stock store with strong customer service. Nights, weekends, and early mornings may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Retail and/or store operations knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout; cash handling to standards
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollment
• Educate customers on VOC survey
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, planogram duties
• Complete merchandise recovery and in-stock maintenance
• Support SISO and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers positively; role model behavior
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
