Job summary

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation seeks two temporary staff members to support donor relations and gift processing during a high-volume period. Based in Annapolis, MD at the Philip Merrill Environmental Center. The roles require excellent customer service, strict confidentiality, and strong data-entry skills.

Work hours are 9am–5pm, Monday–Friday, from November 9 through January 15. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service or donor relations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
• Excellent proofreading skills.
• Computer skills with MS Word and Excel.
• Experience with data entry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for donors by answering calls and processing donations.
• Update donor records and respond to inquiries.
• Assemble and mail donor communications and acknowledgments.
• Maintain electronic gift records and file documents.
• Support gift processing and member relations with data entry.
