Job summary

A local guide service in Skagway seeks a Seasonal Haines Dock Representative to provide excellent customer service and ensure the safe operation of ferry activities. Candidates should possess prior tourism experience and a clean driving record, and they must be willing to obtain necessary certifications. The role includes administrative tasks, managing crowds, and facilitating guest boarding. Shared housing is provided during the seasonal employment.

Qualifications

• Prior office and/or tourism experience preferred.
• Must have or obtain a basic first aid and CPR certification.
• Must be over 21 years of age by March 1, 2024.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of the Haines Skagway Fast Ferry.
• Collect tickets and waivers from guests.
• Manage crowds and ensure all guests board the fast ferry.
