Job summary

Quince is seeking a Merchandising Manager for Seasonal Decor & Faux Plants in San Francisco. You will expand and manage the Seasonal Decor & Botanicals assortment, drive revenue and margins, and collaborate across sourcing, marketing and product teams to deliver high-quality products at radical prices.

The role is based in San Francisco, with a 3 days/week in-office requirement, and targets a growth trajectory across new categories while maintaining Quince’s value proposition of quality and

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of retail merchandising experience in the home decor/seasonal decor category.
• E-commerce and/or DTC experience preferred.
• Proven track record of growing assortment, revenue and margins.
• Strong data-driven decision making and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the Seasonal Decor & Botanicals assortment strategy and pricing to deliver quality at accessible prices.
• Scale seasonal decor beyond Christmas and launch new product types in year one.
• Lead sample feedback and approvals for new products, including overseas travel if needed.
• Leverage data and insights to optimize assortment, performance, and financial goals.
• Identify whitespace and refine the product roadmap based on learnings.
• Use ratings, reviews, and return data to drive quality improvements.
• Partner with Sourcing to develop high-quality, sustainable products.
• Collaborate with marketing, site, and creative teams for compelling launches.
• Act as category expert and cross-functional partner for the customer.
• Make data-driven decisions balancing art and science of merchandising.
• Communicate effectively to drive category success.
