Job summary

Quince in San Francisco is seeking an Associate Merchant, Active to expand and manage the Active product assortment. You will own the assortment strategy, drive revenue and margins, and partner with Sr. Merchandising Manager.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, leveraging customer insights and AI tools to identify whitespace and refine the product roadmap. Collaboration with Product Development, Sourcing, marketing, and site teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of apparel merchandising experience; active performance apparel preferred.
• E-commerce experience or DTC with product creation experience preferred.
• Proven track record of progression within an organization.
• Product obsessed with data tools and external sources.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs (both the 'science' and 'art' of retail).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and analytical with focus on execution.
• Continuous learner, proactive when facing challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated by working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the Active assortment strategy and ensure quality at accessible prices.
• Use data and customer insights to build, optimize, and scale the assortment.
• Identify whitespace and refine product roadmap using data and AI tools.
• Use ratings, reviews, and return data to drive quality improvements with PD and Sourcing.
• Maintain accurate product data in PLM and internal tools.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Sourcing on new products emphasizing performance and sustainability.
• Coordinate with marketing, site, and creative teams for compelling launches.
