Job summary

Quince is seeking a Merchandising Manager, Women’s Footwear in San Francisco to expand and manage the footwear assortment, drive revenue and margins, and scale the category. Qualifications

• Role is based in San Francisco, CA with 3 days in office per week.
• 5–7 years of retail merchandising experience in Women’s Footwear, preferably luxury.
• 1–2 years of people management experience.
• E-commerce or DTC experience preferred.
• Proven track record of progression and growth in roles.
• Product-obsessed with data-tools and external sources.
• Strong customer needs intuition and analytical focus.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and execution-focused.
• Continuous learner with openness to new perspectives and adaptability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end merchandising for Women’s Footwear: category strategy, assortment, launches and performance.
• Influence long-term planning; deliver near-term results independently.
• Partner with PD and Sourcing to align quality, costs and vendor execution.
• Maintain a competitive market pulse and identify whitespace opportunities.
• Leverage data for ratings, reviews and return rate improvements.
• Onboard additional best-in-class vendors to expand source base.
• Refine product roadmap based on new information and learnings.
• May manage Analysts or Assistant Merchants (0–2 direct reports).
