Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Associate in Morristown, VT area. This role delivers friendly customer service, helps shoppers locate products, and ensures a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-store presentation.

Team Members engage with the Rewards program, assist with BOPIS/SFS orders, and follow SOPs while supporting safety and shrink initiatives. Training includes cross-framing duties where applicable.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Enroll customers in the Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram duties.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions; manage returns.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
