Job summary

Alameda County Community Food Bank is seeking a Temporary Data Entry Clerk to support the Development Operations team during the holiday season. The role runs Oct 13, 2026 through Jan 15, 2027, on-site at 7900 Edgewater, Mon–Fri, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Duties include processing gifts, sending acknowledgements, and maintaining donor data with accuracy. Ideal candidates have data entry experience with relational databases (Salesforce preferred), strong attention to detail, and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Prior data entry experience with a relational database; Salesforce preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• On-site work five days a week at 7900 Edgewater.

Responsibilities

• Enter gift information into database per data standards.
• Process credit card donations and maintain data security.
• Maintain donor information and gift history.
• Proofread and mail donor acknowledgement letters.
• General office tasks: filing, scanning, printing.
• Handle donor correspondence and special projects.
• Support Development Operations as needed.
