Job summary

Michaels Stores in Lawrence, KS is seeking a frontline Sales Associate to assist customers, manage checkout, and participate in stocking and store maintenance. You will help customers find products, enroll them in rewards programs, and support omnichannel services such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with standard cash handling.
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers.
• Educate customers about VOC survey.
• Assist with omni-channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact respectfully and be a role model for others.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
