Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Seasonal - Service Team Member at our Athens, GA location. You will deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure quick checkouts. You’ll also handle unloading trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain planograms to support a well-merchandised store.

Role includes omni-channel duties (BOPIS, SFS), participation in inventory processes, and adherence to SOPs. Regular nights, weekends, and early mornings required; 16+ years old preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to perform cash handling to standards.
• Team oriented with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to SOPs.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining planograms (POGs).
• Participate in merchandise recovery and store recovery to keep shelves in stock and well-merchandised.
• Support SISO and AD set duties, shrink and safety programs, and SOP compliance.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship From Store).
• Engage customers with rewards program and VOC survey enrollments.
