Job summary

Michaels in Harvey, LA is seeking a store team member to assist customers, stock merchandise, and run fast, friendly checkouts. The role supports Omni-channel processes and ensures the store is well-merchandised and in stock.

The position emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and adherence to SOPs, with safety and courtesy as core values. Previous retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with locating products and providing solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and handle cash to standards.
• Encourage and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain stock and recovery, and complete go-back/returns per policy.
