Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. DET-COMMERCE STORE in Commerce Charter Township, MI seeks a friendly Store Associate to assist customers, operate the checkout, and keep the floor stocked and inviting.

You will participate in truck unloads, shelf replenishment, and store recovery to uphold brand standards, while promoting the Rewards program and ensuring a safe, welcoming shopping experience for all customers.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store
• Comfort with rewards program enrollment and POS procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist customers: locate products and provide solutions
• Operate checkout with accurate cash handling
• Assist with truck unload, stocking and planogram compliance
• Maintain in-stock and well-merchandised store displays
• Promote and enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
