Job summary

Michaels in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking a friendly Team Member to help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions. This role focuses on a fast checkout, accurate cash handling, and promoting the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.

You will participate in omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, assist with stock, planograms, and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain merchandise and handle returns to keep the store in stock and well merchandised.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; project a positive image and be a role model for other team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
