Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Associate in New Jersey to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will handle truck unloading, stocking, and store recovery tasks, with early morning shifts and weekends required to keep our store well-merchandised.

You will engage customers with our Rewards program, assist with BOPIS/SFS, and support safety programs while maintaining standard operating procedures and high in-stock levels.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including the go back process and general store recovery
