Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Team Member in Middletown, NY to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

You will assist with unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining store recovery to keep products in stock and well-presented. Responsibilities include engaging customers in rewards programs, handling transactions, and supporting omnichannel processes such as BOPIS and SFS, with adherence to SOPs and safety

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Michaels requires team members to be at least sixteen years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards, Private Label Credit Card enrollments, and VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Maintain in-stock store and perform store recovery with SOP compliance.
