Job summary

Sur La Table seeks a Seasonal Sales Associate to inspire customers through their culinary journey and drive in-store sales. You’ll deliver the best-in-class customer experience, share product knowledge, and support daily operations including transactions, replenishment, and visual merchandising.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of employment.
• 1 year of retail sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences that inspire repeat visits and customer loyalty
• Actively engage customers, identify their needs, recommend relevant products or experiences, and leading a customer-focused, Guest Obsessed culture
• Maximize selling opportunities by identifying customer needs and offering relevant solutions
• Promote add-on sales and support events that grow store traffic and customer engagement
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals, contributing to overall store revenue
• Process transactions using the POS system; assist in opening/closing procedures and planogram compliance
• Assist with inventory transactions, replenishment, and maintaining visual merchandising standards
