Job summary

Sur La Table is hiring a Seasonal Sales Associate to inspire customers through every stage of their culinary journey and support daily store operations. You will deliver a best-in-class guest experience, share product knowledge, and help drive sales with a customer-focused, guest-obsessed approach.

You will stay current on products, participate in available training, and collaborate with team members to maintain brand standards and a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1 year of retail sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand by creating memorable customer experiences.
• Stay current on products through available training and independent study.
• Engage customers, identify needs, and recommend relevant products or experiences.
• Maximize selling opportunities and promote add-on sales to grow store traffic.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and track KPIs such as sales volume and conversion rate.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive store culture and onboard new associates.
• Accurately process transactions using the POS system and assist with opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and assist with stock replenishment and inventory transactions.
