Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Cook to assist the Chef or General Manager by preparing, cooking, and serving food at our Arizona facility. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen handling daily menus and recipes, while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing items, maintaining equipment, monitoring safety, and controlling costs. This role rewards reliability and strong customer service, with opportunities to grow within a leading hospitality management company

Qualifications

Partial High School education required; High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
Culinary knowledge required.
Food Safety certification and strong sanitation habits preferred.
Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
Ability to recognize problems and communicate them to management.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, daily menus, and supervisor instructions.
Clean and inspect kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and safe operation.
Operate food station, including station checklist, temperature log, signage, and related tasks.
Requisition food supplies, kitchen equipment, and appliances based on estimates of future needs.
Monitor menus and spending to ensure meals are prepared economically.
Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them to your manager.
